The most beautiful among 65 nations! Ecuadorian Andrea Aguilera won the crown of Miss Supranational 2023.

Representative of Ecuador Andrea Aguilera just crowned Miss Supranational 2023. she replaces Lalela Mswane of South Africa, the outgoing queen.

There were four finalists of the competition Vietnam (fourth runner-up), United Kingdom (third companion), Brazil (second companion) i Philippines (first runner-up).

The final ceremony of the Miss Supranational contest was held in the night (local time, from 1:00 p.m. Ecuadorian time) this Friday, July 14, in Amphitheater in Strzelecki Parklocated in the city of Nowy Sącz, u Poland.

A total of 65 beauty queens competed for this title, which already has a 14-year history. At the opening, candidates were presented by region, in order: Africa, Asia, America, the Caribbean and Europe. Dressed in short masquerade dresses, each is introduced with a brief introduction about their place of origin.

The contestants then went around the set, in the same order, dressed in the typical costume of their country and to the rhythm of a representative melody from each continent. Beautiful candidates from Latin America swayed to the sounds of the theme Hello miss, Maluma and Maitre Gims. The Ecuadorian woman wore a model that recreated a butterfly in a lavender tone.

Then, three by three, in alphabetical order, they walked down the catwalk in their cocktail suits. The Ecuadorian stood out in a tight midi sundress, black with white and gold details. With her charm, Aguilera managed to position herself in the Top 24 of the first stage of the competition.

The next phase of the competition is defined by the swimwear parade. All the young women posed in two-piece swimsuits, some with colored edges, others athletic cut, but all in neon yellow combined with a transparent pink maxi foil. Favorably, the compatriot stood out on the stage and went to the second stage of the competition.

The second part of the competition included a round of questions. The twelve semi-finalists, who replaced their clothes with a two-piece suit and jacket, had to answer why they would be a suitable ambassador for Miss Supranational, for which they had only 20 seconds to answer.

Andrea Aguilera surprised the judges by saying that being raised by a single mother made her a more independent woman and that becoming Miss Supranational will be an example to other women who can achieve whatever they want in life.

At the end, the participants in evening dresses slid onto the amphitheater stage. The representative of Ecuador stood out in a tight and sparkling red dress, with straps and a slit that revealed her decorated navel. The wardrobe was a proposal by the Ecuadorian designer Carlos Mero.

After a round of questions and a parade of evening dresses, the 5 best candidates were selected, and the representative of Ecuador stood out again. In the last phase of the reign, a new round of questions was developed that did not ask for a “perfect” answer, but for the finalists to show their authenticity.

The question was what makes a good ambassador for this organization, with forty seconds to answer. Aguilera was somewhat more emotional on this occasion and answered that if she is crowned Miss Supranational, she will create a foundation for working single mothers.

Other titles that were awarded at the gala evening include Miss Photogenicity, which went to her Savior; Miss Congeniality, who was for South Africa; as well as the title of Miss Supranationals by continent: Miss Africa, for Zimbabwe; Miss Asia, for India; Miss America, for Peru; Miss Caribbean, for curacao; and Miss Europe for Gibraltar.
