Noelia Voigt: 22-year-old model, daughter of Venezuelan and American father, will represent Utah at Miss USA 2023, which will be held in Nevada

“I’m honored to be the first Venezuelan-American to hold the title of Miss Utah USA and I’m really looking forward to breaking down barriers and bridging the gap between communities by being able to speak Spanish and connect with the large Hispanic population. in Utah,” Noelia added in her message alongside a gallery of three photos and a video with part of the interview in Spanish.

Who is Noelia Voigt?

According to a publication in El Diario, Noelia Voigt studied interior design at the University of Alabama and is also a writer, having published her first book. “Brave Maddie” 2021, a text with which he tried to raise awareness about abuse.

The book was inspired by the story of Madison “Maddie” Whittsett, a nine-year-old girl who committed suicide in Alabama after being bullied by other classmates at school, according to the VPI media.

Voigt was born in Florida to an American-Venezuelan couple, since her mother is from a Latin country and her father is American, so she was brought up in a scheme of two cultures, so she also speaks Spanish, although less often than English.

Since 2017, she has ventured into beauty pageants in the United States. In 2018, she won Miss Teen Florida after two unsuccessful attempts where she placed in the top five.

Then, two years later, she won the Miss Alabama Collegiate America 2020 pageant and went on to compete in four more pageants before running for Miss Utah.

The date of the 72nd Miss USA pageant, where the beautiful young woman will claim the title and receive the crown from the hands of Morgan Romano, is not yet known. The latter was the first runner-up for Miss USA 2022 and replaced R’Bonney Gabriel when she became the new Miss Universe.

Noelia Voigt is the first woman of Venezuelan origin to represent Utah in the Miss USA pageant and the second to participate in the American pageant that selects its representative for Miss Universe, the media said, citing the Pageants Venezuela fan page.
