The 33-year-old singer is currently on the tour “The Eras Tour”, during which the artist promotes her last four albums – “Lover” (2019), “folklore” (2020), “evermore” (2020) and “Midnights” ( 2022). The artist will also give three concerts in Poland in 2024, and ticket sales for these events started on July 12. The traffic on the ticket website was so high that the website was down for a few minutes.
The FBI wants to educate young people, inspired by the work of Taylor Swift
Despite the ongoing great tour, Taylor Swift successively releases new music, or rather refreshes her old albums. Last week, she presented the world with the album “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)”, which is the third album of the artist recorded completely from scratch.
The eloquent title of the album, which in Polish is “Speak now”, made the FBI decide to take inspiration from the album. The US government agency created the artwork, inspired by Taylor’s album, which features their own song titles with the words “FBI Version” in parentheses. Why did they do it?
The federal government agency wanted to encourage young people, who probably listen to Taylor Swift’s music, to promote civic attitudes. Song titles combined with album titles are meant to encourage reporting of suspicious behavior (e.g. “Tell me now”: 1. Terrorism).
Was the action successful? In a way, because it became famous on the web, but Internet users do not leave a dry thread on the FBI. They believe that such a way of taking care of prevention is not befitting an institution such as the FBI. And some say outright that this idea was pathetic. Either way, thanks to the wide reach of graphics, more and more people can learn about good citizenship.
