The exhibition “Dialogue between traditional and digital art” that can be visited at the Okendo Kultur Etxea in San Sebastián until August 25 is based on paintings by Silvia Sánchez; On the one hand, it shows some paintings by the Bilbao artist and, in addition, an animation based on these own paintings, in an immersive experience of digital art through virtual reality glasses.
In the room, you will find the seven original paintings on which the virtual reality animation project has been based, paintings that move “between figurative simplicity and almost surreal symbolism.”
In addition, you can enjoy an audiovisual experience through virtual reality glasses in which these pictures are transferred to the digital world. In the room there will be the necessary accompaniment so that anyone can enjoy this experience that can be enjoyed in Basque and Spanish.
