The judge gave a preliminary order to the actor Kevin Costner to pay his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner the sum of $129,755 per month, which is equivalent to paying child support.
That means the figure is well over double what Costner originally offered his ex-wife, though it’s also just over half of what she was asking for.
The decision is only tentative and will be reviewed at a later hearing.according to the court documents he obtained foxnews. However, TMJ notes that the final figure is rarely very different from the initial determination.
The decision comes after Baumgartner was ordered to vacate Costner’s mansion by July 31.
This was allegedly required by the details of the couple’s prenuptial agreement she will move within 30 days after either party files for divorcethe deadline she missed after applying first.
He previously said in court documents that he would vacate the $145 million home on Aug. 31, following the outcome of a trial originally scheduled for July 12, though it is unclear whether that hearing will take place.
In the documents, Baumgartner agreed to vacate the premises at the end of August as long as Costner complied with “every support and reimbursement order issued by the court on July 12,” according to TMZ.
The latest ruling calls for both Costner and her ex to split their children’s health care costs 50-50.
The former couple have three children together, Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13. Costner also has four grown children from previous relationships.
Popola will also share the costs of the children’s expensive tuition in private schools, as well as their extracurricular activities, which include sports.
Costner also incurred additional costs after a judge ordered him to pay $200,000 in attorney’s fees for his ex-wife, along with an additional $100,000 in coroner’s fees.
Star Forensic Accountant Bodyguard (1992) had previously claimed that Baumgartner had spent more than $100,000 on cosmetic procedures, and that these previous expenses were included in the amount ($248,000) he was asking for alimony. (AND)
