Madonna has just broken her silence after being hospitalized with a “serious bacterial infection” late last month.

In a post on Instagram, the 64-year-old Queen of Pop thanked her fans for their “positive energy, prayers and words of healing and encouragement.”

“I felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life,” she wrote. “My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I don’t want to disappoint anyone who buys tickets for my tour .I also didn’t want to let the people who worked tirelessly with me down.” over the last few months to create my show.I hate to disappoint anyone.

“I am now focused on my health and strength and I assure you that I will be back with you as soon as I can. The current plan is to postpone the North American leg of the tour and start in Europe in October.”I couldn’t be more grateful for your care and support. Love, M,” he concluded.

What happened to Madonna and why did she have to go to the hospital?

Madonna’s manager oseary typefirst confirmed that the singer had been admitted to the hospital in an Instagram post on June 28.

“On Saturday 24.6. Madonna got a serious bacterial infection which [condujo] up to a multi-day stay in the ICU (intensive care unit). His health condition is improving, but he is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected,” Oseary wrote on his Instagram account. “We will have to pause all commitments at this time, which includes touring.”

The next morning, it was confirmed that Madonna had returned home and was continuing to recover. “She is feeling better and is following the doctor’s orders and resting,” said a source close to the Grammy winner.

Another insider said Madonna’s children (Lourdes, 26, Rocco, 22, David, 17, Mercy, 17, and twins Stella and Estere, 10) were “so supportive” during the ordeal.

“She is better. He still needs to rest,” says the source. “She wants to get back on tour, but that’s not her focus right now. He’s definitely going on tour and it’s just a matter of when. And it will be a great concert. He likes to go around.”
