Jared Leto, the movie chameleon; transformations for his characters have rendered him unrecognizable

‘Prefontaine’

Leto was the lead in this 1997 film from filmmaker Steve James. He gave life to the American athlete Steve Prefontaine, who died at the age of 24 in a traffic accident. “I got fitter than in my entire life,” said the actor, who also turned to family for more connection with the character.

‘The fight Club’

In director David Fincher’s 1999 film, the actor played Angel Face, who was part of the secret fight club. He was also included in the Project Mayhem missions.

‘Requiem for a Dream’
