The famous chain of McDonald’s restaurants starts with a wedding – there is only one condition. You must live in Indonesia. So far, a similar offer has not yet reached Poland, but we can speculate that it is only a matter of time.
A well-known chain starts with wedding catering
In Indonesia, wedding catering, which includes 100 chicken burgers and 100 four-packs of nuggets, currently costs 3 million 500 thousand. Indonesian rupees (about $233, which is close to PLN 945). It’s worth noting that, based on standard prices for individual menu items, newlyweds who choose to buy the entire package save about $70. (or roughly PLN 290).
This is not an excessive amount – especially considering that in Poland the price for a “plate” at a wedding can really surprise. One of the readers of the journal The fact that while looking for a wedding hall, she heard a terrifying amount to be paid for one guest: PLN 350. So if someone decides to invite 200 people, the sum can be staggering.
Internet users delighted: Now I have the motivation to get married
In an Instagram post, McDonald’s also said other packages are available as long as at least 200 items are ordered. In addition, customers, if they wish, can also order McDonald’s food stands for their wedding. However, it should be remembered that this is still only catering, rather than organizing a wedding reception in a restaurant – although in some places, for example in Hong Kong, this is already possible.
