The victory in the Gaztea demo contest brought the Bilbao trio to Bilbao BBK Live; Thanks to this, their post-punk, rock and pop sounds will be heard in Kobetamendi, which will be a perfect appetizer for their first full-length album, which will be released in autumn.

Thursday, 5:30 p.m., Beefeater Stage

Have you been to Bilbao BBK Live before? When?

We have been in a few editions; being from Bilbao, it’s easy for us to get there, and you had to see this type of big and special concerts.

When? The truth is that we are not very clear about the years.

What memories do you have related to the festival?

The atmosphere and the place are amazing. We don’t have any specific memories, apart from the fact that we had the opportunity to see artists that we greatly admire.

What concert seen in Kobeta has stayed in your memory especially?

Perhaps because it is one of the last, but the LCD Soundsystem concert left us speechless: the sound, all the junk they had on stage. Everything, the truth. An unforgettable concert.

What do you promise to whoever comes to your concert? What will the public always find in a concert of yours?

A concert close and full of energy. Large stages and this type of festival result in concerts that are colder than usual, but we will try to avoid this.

What does it mean for the group to participate in such a massive festival?

We are not very clear. It is an unbeatable option to present our music in a different environment, but for us it is just another concert.

If we see it as something special, surely we will not play as we should.

What drawbacks does a concert in a massive festival have, if you think it has?

At festivals there are many concerts and everything goes fast. If something fails, agur.

Everything must be perfectly, and a bit of naturalness is lost.

If the schedules allow it, which band or artist on the poster are you not going to miss?

There are several: Idles, Arca, La Plazuela… We played the first day at 5:30 p.m. I think we can see everything.

What is the last thing you do before going on stage?

Check that there is a lot of water on the stage, and put on earplugs so as not to go deaf.

What is the first thing you do after leaving the stage?

Take off our earplugs, drink lots of water and change our sweaty clothes. Afterwards, talk about the concert and congratulate each other.

What is your favorite festival?

The truth is that one of the smallest that are made, Nazafest.

What is the first concert you saw?

No member of the group remembers: at some town festivals or with our fathers and mothers.

What is the last concert you went to?

At the time of answering this interview, in the second week of June, Ibil Bedi at Kafe Antzokia in Bilbao. Awesome.

What concert you went to will you never forget?

We have seen many concerts, we cannot choose one…

What is that concert that you would have liked to see but that will now be impossible?

Black Sabbath, Julio Iglesias, Santana, Tito Puente and Jimi Hendrix

Do you regret having gone to a concert that is better to forget?

If it was bad, we probably won’t remember it. We do not know.
