Holiday subsidy. It is not possible in all companies
Funds for holidays under the pear tree are paid from the Company Social Benefits Fund (ZFŚS). This means that only employees employed in companies where such a fund has been established can count on them. It is there that money is collected for all employee allowances and subsidies, including holidays. According to the law, ZFŚS should be established by companies that:
- employ at least 50 full-time equivalents,
- employ at least 20 and less than 50 employees, provided that the application is submitted by a trade union organization,
- they operate in the form of local government units or in budgetary establishments (e.g. the police).
Entrepreneurs who employ fewer than 50 employees decide voluntarily whether they want to establish the Social Fund. The number of employees is determined as at 1 January of a given year.
Who can get a holiday near Pear 2023? Not just current employees
Co-financing of holidays is available only once a year to all employees employed on the basis of an employment contract. Importantly, their family members, former employees, can also count on them (pensioners, pensioners and their families) and all other persons authorized by the employer. The funds will be paid out only in the case of a continuous leave of at least 14 calendar days.
How much is the 2023 holiday pay? It is even PLN 1662.97 of funding
The holiday subsidy is not paid ex officio. This means that in order to receive an appropriate application must be submitted to the employer. Most often you will receive it in the human resources department. Other necessary documents should be attached, usually including a certificate of financial and family situation, and sometimes also a tax return for the previous year. After analyzing everything, the supervisor makes a decision on granting the subsidy. Its height varies depending on e.g. from the employee’s earnings or the funds set aside by him for the Social Fund. on the company benefit fund sets only the upper limit of the amount. In 2023, according to the portal’s calculations, in the case of normal operating conditions a person employed full-time can count on PLN 1,662.97.
