Netflix users warn other viewers against watching the movie “Run Rabbit Run” starring Sarah Snook, known from “Succession”. The production went to the global list of the most watched titles on the platform, but the reviews leave no doubt: the audience admitted barely 26 percent. positive feedback. “Run Rabbit Run” is a production of an independent film company from Australia, but the film generated a lot of media interest already at the stage of announcing the cast and crew. First, it was announced that Daina Reid, known for her work on The Handmaid’s Tale, would direct, and the star of the famous series, Elisabeth Moss, was to play the main role in the production. Later, however, it turned out that she would not take part in the project, and her place was taken by an actress known from the equally sensational series, Sarah Snook from “Succession”.

The main character of “Run Rabbit Run” is an infertility doctor who has a rational approach to the world. But when he notices his daughter’s strange behavior, he must put his values ​​to the test and confront the ghosts of his past. On Netflix, horror viewers from various (but not all) regions of the world can watch from June 28, and they do it in droves. The film hit the third place of the most watched English-language films globally. However, the reviews for the film are not good. Although reviewers admit that several roles are really well played, in their opinion, the whole thing suffers from a weak plot and excessive reliance on hackneyed horror clichés. On the website Rotten Tomatoes, the average rating from 80 reviews by professional film critics is only 38 percent. And as it turns out, this time the reviewers were kinder than the audience – here the rating is even lower and amounts to 26 percent. The list of countries where Netflix cannot show productions in such a turnover includes, among others: just Poland. According to the service, the distribution rights to “Run Rabbit Run” in the Benelux countries, Israel and Eastern Europe are held by SPI International, in Latin America by California Filmes, and in the case of Scandinavian countries the agreement was concluded by NonStop.
