In 2016, she returned to Woronicza, first as deputy director of the program coordination office, then as director, but after Jacek Kurski was appointed president, she resigned. In the latest interview, she told a bit about life in the USA. Not only the climate prevailing there deserves praise. – We live in a beautiful neighborhood, surrounded by parks, water and animals. There are rabbits, squirrels and even deer running around in front of the house. I felt good here very quickly – Joanna Kurska revealed in an interview. She also positively assessed Washington’s neighbors and residents. – The biggest difference is the atmosphere and the smile on the faces of people who are kind and cordial. Everywhere. It is safe to drive on the roads, drivers drive very well, confidently and in accordance with the regulations – she revealed and added that on the streets she “didn’t see women with big lips and inflated cheeks” and dogs always walk on a leash.
As it turned out, it was Providence that helped in choosing the right place to live. Kurska did not want to live in the noisy center of Washington. The place was recommended to them by a journalist colleague, but the final decision was also influenced by Łagiewniki. – At one of the masses in Łagiewniki, I heard the priest talking about the place where miraculous healings by Jesus took place: In Jerusalem, he is at Owcza [Bramie] pool, called Bethesda in Hebrew, she confessed. After the mass, Jacek called her and said that he had found a house in Bethesda. So the choice was obvious. The subject of Polish Television also appeared in the conversation. In the conversation, she pinned the current president when she admitted that her husband was leaving the “powerful and causative television”.
