He released Millions of Coins 14 years ago and stormed the charts. Recently, Mrozu was a guest of the podcast “WojewódzkiKędzierski”, in which he talked about his biggest hit and the background of its creation.

Mrozu made his debut on the music scene in 2009. Not only the musician himself, but also his songs have undergone a metamorphosis for 14 years. At this year’s Fryderyk gala, the artist received five statuettes for his work. Recently, the singer was a guest on the podcast “”, in which, among others, talked about how his debut single and one of the biggest hits in his career was created.

Mrozu about how “Millions of coins” were created. He didn’t want to be “like a boy band leader”

In 2008, he was one of the producers of the fifth studio album of the Molesta Ewenement group. A year later, his debut album, Millions of Coins, was released. The title single became a hit and was dubbed “Polish Justin Timberlake”. Kuba Wojewódzki referred to this patch in the conversation. “You’re phrasing a bit like a boy band leader, like you want somewhere more Backstreet Boys and N Sync than Molesta,” he said on the podcast. Mrozu quickly explained that in his debut single he referred to R’n’B and the likes of Chris Brown and Neyo. He wanted to create a piece that would appeal to fans and regulars of club floors. – What did we have in mind then? Frost said.

At that time, I felt that there is no such type of music on the Polish market and no one dares or has the skills to make such a piece – added.
