Jimmy Donaldson, real name MrBeast, has 163 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel and has gained fame for his spectacular videos in which he invests a large budget to create huge stages, offers cash gifts for his subscribers and beyond. At the age of 25, Jimmy Donaldson has already accumulated more than a decade of making videos for YouTube. He recently revealed that he was invited to the Titanic expedition in the OceanGate submarine.

The creator of the content showed a screenshot via the social network Twitter, which shows a message inviting him to join the crew that will go to the ocean depths.

“At the end of the month, I will travel to the Titanic by submarine. The team would love for you to join,” you can read in the tweet. However, it is not detailed who sent this message. MrBeast revealed that he was invited on this trip where he was able to see the wreck of the Titanic up close.. The content creator refused the offer, and revealed that he was scared because he could be one of the five victims.

“At the beginning of the month I was invited to the submarine that would go to the Titanic, I said no. give me it’s a little scary to think that I might have been in it“, he shared on his Twitter. The influencer isn’t the only one to decline the invitation, as investor Hay Bloom turned him down at the last minute, despite the company’s strong insistence that he and his son have a seat.

Following the Titan accident, an investigation is underway to determine what caused OceanGate’s Titan submarine to implode. Five people died on this submarine during its descent to visit the wreck of the Titanic last week.

The dead crew members were OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush; British businessman Hamish Harding; French diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet; and Pakistani-born businessman Shahzada Dawood and her son Suleman, who were British citizens. (AND)
