Although Olga Aleksandra Sipowicz was best known for being the leader and vocalist of the band Maanam, she was also a songwriter and poet. At a later age, however, she tried her hand at painting and also managed to appear in films where she played herself or was a dubbing actress.
She lent her voice to popular animations such as “The Incredibles” and “The Incredibles 2”, where she voiced the iconic character Edna Mode, who designed spectacular costumes for the entire Incredibles family.
The legendary singer also played in the TVN TV series “Doctors”, as well as the feature films “Wielka Majówka”, “I feel great” and “Przystań” and two documentaries – “History of Polish Rock” and “Beats of Freedom – Call of Freedom”.

On Saturday, June 24, in the Multimedia Fountain Park in Warsaw, the event “Wianki nad Wisłą” will take place, which will be devoted to the work of the leader of the cult band Maanam, Kora Jackowska. Artists who will appear on stage will present their interpretations of the singer’s songs. And they will include Krzysztof Zalewski, Ania Karwan, Muniek Staszczyk, Natalia Przybysz, Maciej Musiałowski, Kwiat Jabłoni, Bovska, Organek, Karolina Lizer & Zee Krayski, Ralph Kamiński, exMaanam.
