The series was broadcast on TVP1 in the years 2000 – 2012. It was this production that brought Bogdan Brzyski popularity among TV viewers. When he appeared in one of the first episodes, glossy magazines hailed him as “curate for the taking”. Although the actor could count on great interest, fame was never his priority and he did not seek excessive attention.
He got an index and then got kicked out. His road to acting was bumpy
Bogdan Brzyski has been passionate about the stage since childhood. When he was only 8 years old, he joined a song and dance group, where he learned how to deal with the audience. The idea of becoming an actor did not occur until high school. Shortly after graduating from high school, he decided to take the exams for the Warsaw theater school and, to everyone’s surprise, he received an index card. The joy did not last long, however, because the tutor of the year decided that he was not mature enough for this profession and was expelled. The defeat was motivating. Almost immediately, he enrolled in an acting school in Gdynia, and later tried again to get into a state institution. Eventually, he received his dream book at the PWST in Krakow.
After graduating in 1998, Brzyski got a job at the Stary Theater in Krakow, with which he is still associated. He performed in many excellent plays, and his acting creations are permanently remembered by the audience. Although he does not see himself in any other profession, he believes that not everyone with talent will be fulfilled as an actor. — In this profession you have to have the sensitivity of a butterfly and the skin of a rhino — in one of the interviews. He has participated in such performances as The Master and Margarita, The Brothers Karamazov, Werther and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He believes that acting is a difficult profession and not everyone with talent will be able to do it.

In the early 2000s, Brzyski landed a role in a series whose episodes are available on the website. He played the role of vicar Adam Potoczny, thus fulfilling one of his professional dreams. — Whenever I was asked in drama school who I would like to play, I said priest in “Przegląd”. The young clergyman rode a motorcycle and did not have such radical views as many might assume, which made him quickly win the sympathy and recognition of the audience. The role in the TVP production was not the only one he appeared in. He played episodes in such productions as “Boże Cia³o” or . Excessive fan interest soon turned out to be too embarrassing for him, so he decided to stay away from show business. “Of course, it’s very nice when someone asks for an autograph. But I don’t go out with my fans for coffee. I still lead a life far from stardom – he said and added that he values peace and privacy.
