Saioa Alkaiza has won the 2021 Navarra Bertsolaris Championship, and has received the txapela from Estitxu Arozena. It was precisely with Arozena that Alkaiza started bertsolarismo with, and won the txapela 26 years after the first did.
Alkaiza has beaten the bertsolaris Eneko Fernandez Maritxalar, Eneko Lazkoz Martinez, Joanes Illarregi Marzol, Josu Sanjurjo Altzuri, Julio Soto Ezkurdia, Xabat Illarregi Marzol and Xabier Silveira Etxeberri.
Against all odds, Julio Soto has been left out of the face to face, and the iruindarra and Eneko Lazkoz have managed to go all the way.
