He announced on his Twitter account on June 17 that he joined OceanGate Expeditions to see the remains of the Titanic.

“I am proud to announce, I finally joined OceanGate Expeditions, on his RMS TITANIC mission, as a mission specialist on a submarine heading for the Titanic,” he wrote in the post.
