Welcome to summer in Warsaw’s Podzamcze has been one of the most popular events in the capital for 27 years. This year’s Wianki nad Wisłą will start on June 24, 2023, at 12:00. Admission to the event is free. First, there will be a midsummer picnic, and later the participants will have time to get acquainted with the rich offer of shows and workshops. The organizers made sure that there were a variety of attractions, referring to the traditions and rituals of Kupala Night.
The program includes reconstruction of a Slavic and rafting village, where it will be possible to admire weaving and pottery workshops. Those interested will also be able to taste the ancient delicacies of Mazovia. In the meantime, there will also be wreath-making classes, which, according to tradition, can be thrown into the river when it gets dark.
Wianki nad Wisłą Warsaw 2023. Who will perform at this year’s event?
The event is enriched by concerts featuring leading Polish performers. This year there will also be real stars whose songs conquer the charts. The concert will start with the band Felivers at 19:15. Later, Dawid Kwiatkowski will also appear on the stage. The culmination of the event will be the main concert “KORA. I came to the world for this”, which, according to the plan, is to start at 10:00 pm. The greatest hits from the band’s repertoire will be performed by: Krzysztof Zalewski, Organek, Karolina Lizer, Ania Karwan, Muniek Staszczyk, Natalia Przybysz, Maciej Musiałowski, Kwiat Jabłoni, and who will also appear as the host. The organizers have also thought about those who will not be able to attend the event in person. Therefore, live performances will be broadcast by TVN station.
