In mid-May, an unpleasant incident involving Krzysztof Daukszewicz and Piotr Jacoń took place in the TVN24 program “Kontakt Glass”. Many people thought that the case would quickly go into oblivion, but it did not. Recently, Daukszewicz announced his departure from the program. In a Facebook post, he wrote: “First I became a homophobe and a transphobe – although I wrote the song “The Ballad of Cursed Crayons” in defense of LGBT and “Eighty Police Cars”. Now, Piotr Jacoń, who has been on vacation for the last month and has not been involved in the media, has decided to take the floor. In an Instagram post, he showed what words he now has to deal with, posting an unpleasant comment from one of the users on the main photo. The post began with the words:

I’m back from vacation. It lasted a month – we planned it for a long time. It turned out that at that time I destroyed Mr. Krzysztof’s family – we read.

Later, the journalist returned to the situation in mid-May, when Daukszewicz, after presenting a compilation of hurtful words of right-wing politicians about transgender people, decided to refer to it at the end of the program. When Piotr Jacon, who has a transgender daughter, was connected, the commentator of “Szkła” then asked “what gender is it today”. The host of “Day after day” did not comment on it live, but in the post on Instagram he recalled that he later spoke on the phone with Daukszewicz.

“I asked how he was. “I, Mr. Piotr, I am an old Lithuanian,” he replied. “I can do it.” We went back to what happened. Who said what and how he understood it. “Okay, Mr. Piotr, but what conclusions?” he asked finally. I said that the most important thing is that we can talk to each other. He agreed.
