Andrea Jaurrieta finishes shooting her film “Nina”

The director Andrea Jaurrieta has finished the six weeks of filming in Bermeo and Mundaka for her new film, “Nina”, which will follow her debut feature “Ana by day”.
Satisfied, Jaurrieta affirms that she has been “lucky enough to see the strength and professionalism of Patricia López Arnaiz, as well as Darío Grandinetti; both defending two really complicated characters tooth and nail. The two revelations are undoubtedly Aina Picarolo and Iñigo Aranburu. Just thinking about all the work and effort they all put into telling this story makes me deeply emotional.”
The film, in which EITB participates, will hit theaters in 2024.
Nina (Patricia López Arnaiz), at 45, decides to return to the coastal town where she grew up to take revenge on the man who ruined her life and to whom the town now pays homage. Her reunion with her place of origin, with her memories of her past and with Blas, a childhood friend, will make her wonder if revenge is the only way, reads her synopsis.
