After the introduction of martial law, things began to deteriorate not only between the spouses, but also in the relationships within the team. They gave less concerts, and Janusz met Barbara Dąbrowska, for whom he left Elżbieta. He began to arrange his life and build a house. Dmoch couldn’t handle the breakup. She broke down and shut down. In 1990, 2 plus 1 played a concert in New Jersey, and during the tour Janusz had health problems. Like Cezary Szlązak, a member of 2 plus 1, Kruk fainted twice in the United States. — He went with Paweł Mścisławski, the bassist of Lady Pank at the time, to the supermarket and fell on the shelf, which flew with a dozen more like dominoes. It looked like a terrorist attack, the police came and the doctor said he had never seen a person with such a low body temperature, he said. After those events, Kruk did not return to the stage, and two years later he died of a heart attack.

Elżbieta Dmoch fell ill with depression. She refused help for many years
After Janusz Kruk, she fell into depression and disappeared from public life. And although she overcame the disease, she still avoids the media and does not perform on stage.
