Krzysztof Krawczyk’s widow, Ewa, in an interview for the Świat Gwiazd portal, pointed out that her husband had not sung in Trubadura for 40 years, and only half of the original line-up remained in the group, so it is difficult for her to approach the performance emotionally.

However, for Krzysztof Krawczyk Junior, the performance in Opole is another chance to gain publicity and improve the poor financial situation. Since his father’s death, the artist has been trying to prove with his lawyers that part of the property bequeathed to Krawczyk’s wife belongs to him, and that the late musician was not fully aware at the time of writing his will.
Young Krawczyk also told the media about financial problems during the 60th National Festival of Polish Song in Opole. He noted that he lives on a low pension, which he was awarded after an accident due to post-traumatic epilepsy, which he has been struggling with since he was 14 years old. He also complained that he was not getting any royalties.
In an interview with ShowNews.pl, the singer explained why he should be paid for his father’s work. “Things that were recorded 30 or almost 40 years ago, I recorded, Dad recorded, we were not in the recording studio at the same time, but we recorded a duet together and separately, I didn’t get a penny, neither from Zaiks nor from these royalties Nothing” – said the artist.
Krzysztof Krawczyk junior once again suggests that he was deceived and harmed. He has a similar attitude to the last will written by his father, which does not include him in any part as the heir to the singer’s estate. The inheritance issue has still not been finally resolved.
