The controversy surrounding Lady Gaga’s pets continues. Despite the fact that the singer and actress found her beloved stolen dogs, she is hesitant to hand out a $500,000 reward to the woman who allegedly found her furry companions.

Two of the famous artist’s three French bulldogs were stolen in February 2021 while Ryan Fischer, one of the actress’s employees, was walking them through the streets of Los Angeles.
Several armed men approached Fischer and took Gaga’s pets. Fischer was injured by a gunshot in the incident.
Desperate to find her beloved animals, the singer offered a $500,000 reward for information on their whereabouts or the dogs’ return.
Although there was no response at first, Jennifer McBride appeared days later and returned the puppies to the singer and thus took the offered prize.

Why doesn’t Lady Gaga want to pay the prize?
Almost three years after the event, the actress still refuses to pay the reward agreed with Jennifer McBride, who is linked to the theft of pets because of her relationship with one of the attackers.

McBride announced legal action against Lady Gaga for offering a “misleading prize”. In addition, he is seeking additional damages of $500,000 and legal fees. According to the woman’s lawyers, she had nothing to do with the theft of the pets.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga’s legal team filed a motion in Los Angeles Superior Court to dismiss the lawsuit filed by McBride.
