It aroused controversy not only on the domestic political scene. His life was marked by scandals and scandals. There were also dark secrets, such as the one related to the unexplained death of the Moroccan model Imane Fadil in 2019.
Imane Fadil was a key witness in the 2012 trial of famous parties “bunga-bunga”which took place at the Prime Minister’s villa. When it came to light what was happening in his residence in Italian Arcore, the public was shocked. Fadil’s testimony was beyond comprehension. The model, aspiring to the role of a sports journalist at the time, told, among other things, that young women had sex with the prime minister at the time. Some were unaware of what was going on around them. In exchange for sexual intercourse, they received envelopes with money and trays of jewelry.
As her sister Fatima said in an interview with the media, Fadil did not use these “gifts” and did not want to undress. She wanted a job as a sports journalist, and a friend from the industry informed her that she could get it by appearing at Silvio Berlusconi’s parties. However, she quickly found out that this was not true and stopped attending them.
She planned to write a book called “I Met The Devil” – “I Met the Devil” – about this, was happening at the parties at the villa in Arcore. However, she died unexpectedly. How did this hitherto unexplained death come about?
Radioactive substances in the body. Was the model poisoned?
The model died on March 1, 2019. Imane Fadil died in Milan. A month earlier, she had suffered terrible agony. She complained about for excruciating abdominal pain. She was hospitalized in a serious condition on January 29, 2019. Tests showed the presence of large amounts of heavy metals in her body: cadmium, cobalt, chromium, nickel and antimony – a chemical compound that is part of paints.
The first urine test showed traces of radiation exposure on Fadil. “Mixtures of radioactive substances” were to be detected in the model’s body, ANSA reported. However, testing of subsequent samples did not show this.
Imane Fadil was afraid of Berlusconi’s men. She claimed she was poisoned
Later, the fanpage.it website reported that pyridine was detected in the model’s body – this compound is present in many drugs and vitamins, but also in the air around factories. In small amounts it is not dangerous to humans, but in large amounts it becomes toxic. The prosecutor’s office in Milan claimed that this may have been the case with Fadil. Pyridine was supposed to be in the antibiotics that the 34-year-old received while in hospital.
While she was alive, Imane argued that she had been poisoned. She was very afraid of Berlusconi’s entourage. She confessed that she was offered one million euros in exchange for keeping quiet about what was happening at the prime minister’s parties. However, she rejected this “offer” and went to court. Her health began to fail on January 13, 2019 – right after she met her lawyer at a restaurant. Unexpectedly, this coincided with Berlusconi’s return to the political scene and running in the elections to the European Parliament.
“Doctors have not come to any conclusion as to what could explain her death.”
Imane’s roommate testified that she suffered from muscle pain for the first two weeks after seeing her lawyer. She also struggled with increased reflux and general weakness of the body. Her family spoke of even greater suffering of the model. In an interview with “Mail Online”, Fadil’s relatives revealed that in the last days of her life, Imane had m. yellowed eyeballs, constant nosebleeds, a swollen belly and tubes protruding from everywhere, designed to purify the blood.
“Several anomalies” – this is how the Attorney General of Milan Francesco Greco described the uncertainties that resulted from Fadil’s medical records.
Doctors have not come to any clear conclusions as to what could explain her death
– he said, quoted by foreign media.
“She was always looking for the truth”
The investigation was finally closed in 2022, in the fall. According to the prosecutor’s office, the model died as a result anemia aplastic, causing her marrow to stop producing red blood cells. The Italian press pointed out that such a state of the body is extremely rare, although it can occur spontaneously. However, it can also be caused by exposure to radiation or pesticide poisoning. So far, the final cause of the disease that occurred in the Moroccan woman and led to her death has not been established.
The model’s relatives also believe that the model was poisoned. They requested a second autopsy. In turn, in February 2023, they announced that they would bring her body to Morocco, considering Italy a corrupt country unworthy of her.”
Imane has always sought the truth. The only way to honor her memory is to do the same
– said her sister Fatima in an interview with “Mail Online”.
