The travel voucher was valid from August 1, 2020 until the end of March 2023. It consisted of a one-off benefit of PLN 500 per child under 18, which could be used to pay for a stay in or a tourist event in the country. In turn, the parents of a disabled child could count on PLN 1,000. The program was intended to support Polish tourism in the difficult times of the pandemic. Since it enjoyed great interest, it is no wonder that not only parents, but also the entire tourist industry are waiting for the new version of the voucher. Although there is not much time left until the holidays, and there is no shortage of speculation in the network, official decisions have not yet been made. It is only known that the government is working on a new form of support. Most likely, it will be significantly different from previous editions.
Tourist voucher 2023/2024. What will it consist of?
Everything indicates that the new tourist voucher will be valid in a completely different form than before. As admitted by the Minister of Sport and Tourism, Kamil Bortniczuk negotiations are currently underway with the Ministry of Finance over the shape of the programme. – It will certainly not be in the form it has been in recent years – in an interview with RMF FM. The idea is to extend the holiday edition of the 500 plus program by an additional amount, but only if the person interested, instead of downloading it, decides to buy a tourist voucher with an additional amount, which will be spent entirely on holidays during the holiday season.
