“Family express” debuted in 2017 and, according to the program’s description, featured interviews with guests and columns, and also had a guide segment to help shape family life in accordance with the teachings of Christianity. The host also visited various families, presenting their passions, which could inspire viewers to new ideas for spending free time.

Rafał Patyra himself informed about the end of production of the program. “After several years on the air, the program has ended. “Our program has reached its final station. The 284th episode was also the last one. It was a special time, it was a great value and a beautiful journey” – he concluded.
The magazine has been heavily criticized many times. It was the most famous in 2020, when on the wave of strikes against the tightening of the abortion law, an episode entitled “Pompeian Novena”, in which the host talked about medieval punishments for women. Then he dared to say the words that agitated many people:
What is particularly interesting, women were also threatened with severe punishment for initiating an argument in a public forum. The culprits had to reckon with the fact that they would have to take a walk around the market square with a stone tied around their necks. Who knows if similar rules would not be worth introducing in public life today, he said in the programme.
The broadcaster quickly deleted the episode and explained that “the content of the broadcast is not related to events in the country”. The attitude of the leader himself was also very impressive. In the past, he confessed to cheating on his wife and fathering a child with his mistress. However, his wife decided to fight for the marriage and forgave him.
“One day she suggested that we go together to Częstochowa for a meeting of the Mamre Community. (…) With the help of God, I began to overcome the crisis,” he recalled in “Dobry Tygodnik”. He and his wife Patyra have four children. He has a daughter from a relationship with a woman he had an affair with. He admitted that he did not have a good relationship with her. “She told me that she did not want to meet me. I can only call you from time to time, for example on my birthday or name day,” he said.
