Piotr Stramowski applied to participate in the popular at the time para-documentary program “Judge Anna Maria Wesołowska”. He wasn’t entirely sure if it was this production, but it was confirmed by the Stars Impresariat agency. As the actor’s filmography shows, he did not get the job, but he kept the picture. He has short, spiky hair and a still pretty baby face.
The photo was commented on by famous friends. Designer Gosia Baczyńska wrote “What a story! casting for Anna MW? You have to start somewhere”, and actress Maria Dejmek added: “Jesus, that’s how I remember you! From our integration camp in front of PWST!”.
Piotr Stramowski received his acting diploma in 2012 at the PWST in Krakow, and for one year he studied with such people as the aforementioned Maria Dejmek, Jakub Gierszał, Adriana Kalska, Mateusz Ko¶ciukiewicz, Marcin Kowalczyk, Dawid Ogrodnik and Katarzyna Zawadzka. He made his television debut with an episode in the series “Sisters” from 2009, he also appeared in the plans of such productions as “Htel 52”, “Ojciec Mateusz” or “Recipe for Health”, “2XL” and “Commissioner Alex”. In 2015, he starred in his first major film, “W Spiral” – during the shoot, he met his ex-wife Katarzyna Warnke. Soon after, he appeared in the comedy “Just Friendship.” He was also spotted by Patryk Vega and offered the role of the policeman “Majami” in one of the next film “Pitbulli”.
The role was a definite breakthrough and a significant change in image. Since then, Stramowski’s position as an actor specializing in crime and action films has firmly established itself. At the same time, Stramowski devotes a lot of attention to acting in the theater, which allows him to impersonate characters with a different profile. Currently, the actor can be seen in one of the main roles in the Polsat TV series “Bracia”. In the spring of 2023, he also joined the 18th edition of the program “Your Face Sounds Familiar”.
