The realization of a university short film as a task, 17 years ago, marked the beginning of a project that today has become the acting school and stage producer Creations. Ecuadorian actor and producer Elio Peláez today celebrates the anniversary of the institution he directs on stage. Tonight, at 8:00 p.m., eight members of the group Creacciones will be the protagonists of the Talents night, a gala that will compile four scenic proposals.
“This is an acting competition, where the best guys from my talent group face off before a specialized jury, with years of experience. The audience will see four couples (this is how the groups are divided) who will present a performance, a characterization and a performance of dance. All in one setting. There will be different genres, because there is fantasy, horror, drama and comedy, ”explains Peláez.
The short-format works to be presented are the result, he indicates, of six months of rehearsals. This work will be evaluated by Alberto Pablo Rivera, Mónica Aguirre, Alcira Mujica, Ricardo Briones, Nebraska Ruilova, Iñaki Moreno, Guillermo Uzhca and Alejandra Paredes.
Marcos Olvera, Elise Caicedo, Jonathan Camino, Narcisa Morán, Andrés Parrales, Viviana Mora, Leonardo Rico and Kenya Flores are those who intervene in the Talents night to become the best of this artistic gala.
Talent Night is a day that takes place a year later – it was scheduled for 2020 – and after a preselection among 25 contestants. “They had a preliminary elimination that lasted like three months. Every Sunday they were given challenges and those who did not pass the tests were eliminated. This started in November 2020 ″, details Peláez.
