Love at first sight
Piotr Fronczewski met his wife in the early 1970s. At that time, he was moving to a new apartment in Warsaw. At some point, in the stairwell, he met a beautiful blonde, Ewa, with whom he fell in love almost immediately. After some time, he decided to invite the stranger to the theater – a few years later, instead of at the ticket office, they were already on the wedding carpet.
In 1975, the couple’s first daughter, Katarzyna, was born. Three years later, she had her sister Magdalena. Years later, Fronczewski admitted that it was not an easy time for him. – I’ve been working a lot. I was working properly. From dawn to late at night. Turnstile. Treadmill. In addition, a house with two small children, which means no sleep. At one point I wanted to run away from it all – he wrote in his book Ja, Fronczewski. Soon, the couple’s relationship became even more complicated.

Work, small children at home and an excess of duties visibly overwhelmed the actor – especially since his professional career was then gaining momentum. He received more and more proposals for cooperation, trips and meetings. – It was Ewa who went to interviews and did homework with her daughters. Despite many duties, the actor tried to spend as much time as possible at home – until he met a friend Joanna Pacuła, 11 years younger, on the set of “07 report”. The camera loved her. The woman attracted attention with her noble facial features, blue eyes and large lips. She emanated charisma, which – as it turned out years later – also captivated Piotr Fronczewski. After seven years of marriage, the artist had an affair with her, even though he still loved his wife. However, the infatuation with Joanna Pacuła was too strong. “At one point, I wanted to run away from it all. Get out of. Wherever. And somehow it happened – confessed the actor years later. However, living a lie turned out to be too difficult for him and he decided to reveal the whole truth to Ewa. Eventually, the woman gave her husband a second chance.
