Adam DeVine has revealed that he witnessed a murder near his Hollywood Hills home. He shared the story while recording his This Is Important podcast on Wednesday night – he claims he and his wife Chloe Bridges saw the crime from their balcony.

“It’s a real, scary thing that just happened,” the actor told podcast co-hosts Blake Anderson, Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck. – Across my street they often have crazy poker nights. People come to them in Lomborghinis, Bentleys and other Rolls-Royces. They’re mostly older dudes who most likely use prostitutes and play cards,” DeVine began describing the incident.
“We see these people quite often and it’s fun to watch them. My wife and I were sitting on our balcony and the party looked wild. And suddenly it’s starting to get sad. Someone was shot there, he described.
” reports that Los Angeles police have confirmed that there was indeed a shooting in the Hollywood Hills area on Wednesday night at around 2 a.m. It is not certain that this is the same crime that DeVine told about. However, one of the neighbors reported law enforcement that the occupants of the house had organized a poker night that would later turn bloody.
The victim was identified as 39-year-old Emil Lahaziel, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Adam Devine did not comment further on the matter. The actor is well known to viewers as Bumper Allen from “Pitch Perfect” and spin-off “Bumper in Berlin” – platform Peacock just renewed the series for another season.
