Maria Probosz was born on February 7, 1961 in Łódź. She made her debut in front of the cameras in the comedy “Is there a lady here?” when she was only 16 years old. The actress was popular with directors even before she graduated from the Łódź Film School. During her studies, she in such productions as Master and Małgorzata, “Tulipan”, or the cult “07 report”, which can still be watched on the vod.tvp.pl platform.
Everyone admired the beauty of the young artist, which gave her a lot of engagements. This, however, quickly pigeonholed Probosz. In many productions, the actress had to take part in scenes that expose her body. Throughout her Probosz, she undressed in front of the camera more than 40 times.

Career successes did not go hand in hand with the actress’s private life. She married her first husband, Marek Probosz, when she was only 16 years old. The marriage did not last the test of time. The artist’s next partner was more than a decade older than her. This relationship also ended after only a few years. Probosz’s third husband, Czesław Nogacki, was to be the only one. Instead, the man gave the actress real hell.
Nogacki was morbidly jealous of his wife. There were situations in which a man would come to film sets and start arguments with both Maria and other members of the crew. The partner abused the actress mentally and physically. – He hit my face so hard that I stopped having it at all – admitted Probosz during “Angora”. Because of the toxic husband, the woman received less and less engagements. The situation at the actress’s home was getting worse day by day, and even worse, she turned to alcohol more and more often. He was a monster who ruined my life. I drank out of despair – she emphasized in an interview with “Super Express”.
After 6 years, Probosz divorced Nogacki. In 1995, she married her high school sweetheart Andrzej Hasik. With the support of her husband, she slowly began to turn around. Despite the fact that none of the directors wanted to involve her in the film anymore, the actress found a job in the theater. In every bad moment in Maria’s life, her partner helped her. The man was with her until the very end, when her parents died, she reached for alcohol again or when she fell ill with pancreatic cancer. Maria Probosz died on September 14, 2010 at the age of 49.
