Bad news for those who have a ticket for the Primavera Sound in Madrid. Due to the bad weather conditions in recent days, the organization has decided to suspend the event scheduled for this Thursday, in which groups such as Blur, Halsey or New Order.

Through a statement, the organization conveys that the “persistent inclement weather” have affected the pre-production of the festival.

“Given the adverse forecast that is expected for Thursday, June 8, with strong storms during the afternoon, in close coordination and in agreement with the City Council and the Local Police of Arganda del Rey and following the recommendations and considerations of the pertinent technical reports , the day of Thursday June 8 of Primavera Sound Madrid in the City of Rock in Arganda del Rey is suspended for security reasonsas well as the activity in the Cívitas Metropolitano scheduled for this Thursday,” they add.

Where the activity planned for the day is maintained is in the Primavera Auditorium (The Music Station). The organization clarifies that Primavera Sound will go ahead and open its doors on June 9 and 10, also maintaining the opening day.

And what about the tickets?

For all those who had tickets for Thursday, June 8, those tickets will be valid for the day of Friday or Saturday “without the need to carry out additional procedures”.
