He French eSports team Vitality announced on Wednesday the death of his jValorant player Karel Asenbrener, nicknamed “Twisten”, at only 19 years old.
“It is with infinite sadness and pain in our hearts that we received the news last night of the death of our Valorant player Karel +Twisten+ Asenbrener,” the club announced on social media.

Vitality announced in a press release that Karel died on the night of June 6, and although it does not explain the reasons, it seems that it was a suicide due to mental health. The player recently revealed that he suffers from depression.
He commented on that in December 2021 suffered from depression and anxiety, something that lasted over time as noted in the same month of February.
At only 19 years old and 3 years of experience in the video game ValorantTwisten managed to position himself as one of the players with the highest projection in Europe, collecting more than $12,000 in prize money during his career. (AND)
