The Emmy-winning science-fiction series returns with a new sixth season on Netflix. Viewers will be able to watch five fresh episodes from June 15, and the creators promise to “expect the unexpected”. We also know that a star cast awaits us, because there will be m.in. Michael Cera, Salma Hayek, Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett and Ben Barnes.

Series creator and writer Charlie Brooker told viewers to wait four years. already asserts that the sixth series of the dark and satirical anthology is the most unpredictable part of all so far and that it defies all classification. The sixth series consists of five episodes written by Charlie Brooker. Each has a different cast and director. Here’s what the teaser looks like:

The first episode is titled “Joan is Awful”. Its main character is a theoretically ordinary woman, but one day she is surprised to discover that the global streaming platform broadcasts a very prestigious series that tells the exact story of her life, and the main role is played by none other than Salma Hayek. The cast of the episode includes Salama Hayek, of course, as well as Annie Murphy, Ben Barnes, Himesh Patel, Michael Cera and Rob Delaney. Ally Pankiw was responsible for directing.

Loch Henry, on the other hand, tells the story of a young couple who come to a sleepy Scottish town to make a nature documentary. Once there, however, they discover that the town hides a scandalous secret about shocking events from the past. It starred Daniel Portman, John Hannah, Monica Dolan, Myha’la Herrold, Samuel Blenkin and was directed by Sam Miller.

“Beyond The Sea” is an episode in which the action takes place in an alternate version of 1969. The two men have been sent on a dangerous technical mission and are dealing with the consequences of an “unimaginable tragedy”. Starring Aaron Paul, Auden Thornton, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara and Rory Culkin. This time the director was John Crowley.

“Mazey Day” tells the story of a lost celebrity who fled the scene of an accident and struggles with the consequences of this behavior, constantly watched by paparazzi. It starred Clara Rugaard, Danny Ramirez and Zazie Beetz, and was directed by Uta Briesewitz. The episode “Demon 79” takes place in the past again. The year is 1979 in northern England. A calm saleswoman learns that she must do something unimaginably monstrous to prevent a catastrophe. It was directed by Toby Haynes and starred Anjana Vasan and Paapa Essiedu.
