are one of the most recognizable twins in Poland. Although they are very popular, few people know their moving history. From an early age, the actors helped their parents in all household chores and supported them financially. What made them grow up so quickly?

Before they made a splash by joining the cast of the series, they led seemingly normal teenage lives. Although their family lived modestly, the home was never lacking in warmth and mutual love. When Rafał and Marcin were only a few years old, their father was employed in the metalworks in Siedlce. One day, while performing his duties, he had a serious accident, as a result of which he lost his arm. At that time, the family’s financial situation deteriorated significantly. There was no money to meet basic needs, pay for medicines or rehabilitate the man.

The father’s accident forced the twins to quickly enter adulthood. The brothers had to learn independence and responsibility, they also became more resourceful. They helped my mother with household chores, they knew how to fix the washing machine and other appliances. They were not afraid of hard work and willingly offered their help to their neighbors as well. – We had to grow up really fast – Marcin Mroczek in one of the interviews.

Finally, they came up with an idea to make some extra money for the household budget. They started growing vegetables in a backyard greenhouse. When it was time to harvest, they went to the nearby market and sold their crops. Everything they earned, they gave to their mother. Today they are grateful for the experiences from years ago, because it was the difficult moments that taught them humility and helped them learn the value of money.
