Before he became a juror in “Idol”, he worked in TVP. This is how Kuba Wojewódzki looked like in the 90s

While still a student, he started collaborating with “Magazyn Muzyczny”. He hosted music broadcasts in the Scout Radio, and then in Trójka. In 1990, he was given the position of artistic director at the phonographic company Arston. There he designed album covers, he was also responsible for the production of music videos for such hits as “My House” by Ira, “Eli lama sabachtani” by Wilków or “Euforia” by Urszula. Soon, he also began to develop a television career, but in Kuba Wojewódzki from the 1990s, it is difficult to recognize the current “King of TVN”.

What did Kuba Wojewódzki look like in the 90s? He hosted a music show on TVP1

In 1992, Wojewódzki received a proposal from the head of the TV channel Jedynka, Piotr Radziszewski, to host the “Rockendroller” program. – I was a very young man at the time, and those were the days when only One and Two were on TV – he recalled in an interview. He conducted interviews with artists, popular bands and talked about music.

You can find a lot of archival fragments of the program on the web. Thanks to them, it can be concluded that although the journalist did not change much in appearance, he preferred a slightly different style and behaved completely differently than we were used to in his talk show. Kuba Wojewódzki in the program from the 90s seems much calmer than today. He conducted the interviews gently, although he did not avoid probing questions.

From Polish Television, Kuba Wojewódzki finally went to Polsat. It is thanks to the talent show “” broadcast on this station that he gained the greatest fame as a showman. He also hosted the first seasons of the original talk show “Kuba Wojewódzki” on Telewizja Polsat. The program has been broadcast on TVN since 2006.
