The weather in the next month promises to be changeable. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management warns against frost, while synoptics forecast the warmest days in this month for many years. When the thermometers will show even 30 degrees in the shade?

Summer is approaching Poland in big steps, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t have aura breaks ahead of us. The June weather, although in the first days greeted us with the sun, can still surprise many people with its changeability. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management warns against a sudden change in the weather that awaits us soon.

Weather for the weekend. The night from Friday to Saturday will bring a sudden change of aura

According to IMGW messages, the night from Friday to Saturday will bring us a sharp cooling. During the day, maximum temperatures can range from 16 to 18 degrees Celsius. It will be cooler in the north of the country, where the temperature can reach up to 14 degrees Celsius. Frost alerts may be issued in many regions. What’s more, the temperature near the ground at night can drop to as low as 0 degrees Celsius. In the north and locally in the foothills of the Carpathians, the greatest temperature drops are forecast, reaching -2 degrees Celsius. The reason is supposed to be a high from the Atlantic, which will bring cold air masses to Poland.

According to IMWM forecasts, frosts will last longer and more than one frosty night is due. The situation will be similar in the night from Saturday to Sunday. Ground frosts down to -2 degrees Celsius will be possible locally in the lake districts and southern parts. During the day, we can expect a maximum of 15 degrees on the coast, around 18 in the center to 20 degrees Celsius in the west of Poland, according to the portal’s forecasters.

People waiting for high temperatures may be positively surprised, especially when planning a long weekend in June. Each day after the weekend will bring us higher and higher temperatures. On June 8, real heat is announced.

According to the daytime maximum, we can expect up to 29 degrees Celsius in the west of Poland, around 26 in the center and in the east of the country. It will be a bit cooler on the coast, where the indicators will show around 18 degrees Celsius.
