Ecuadorian films to be seen on OnDirectv in June

Lovers of Ecuadorian productions are in luck. The national cinema will be present in OnDirectv, some Ecuadorian movies will be available throughout the region on this channel: Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico and Uruguay. Four films will be broadcast in June and four more titles will be added in July.

Ecuadorian cinema is experiencing a moment of great relevance and growth, with a large number of emerging talents and a diversity of genres and themes covering everything from social issues to comedies. The film tells the story of six Latinos who travel to the United States for the first timeeach for different reasons. Among them are: an introverted boy traveling as an exchange student, a naive woman trying to make it in Hollywood, a tourist mistaken for a movie star, an illegal immigrant working as a stripper, an inexperienced girl looking for a job and a unhappy woman who can’t even travel by plane without unleashing a catastrophe.

In the land of freedom, they will have all kinds of adventures, from putting together a chaotic party that ends in infamy, living with hundreds of migrants in a small apartment, to studying in a strange academy to be a gringo. They will have to deal with the language, the gastronomy, the customs and the intimidation of the immigration authorities who will try at all costs to send them back to their country.

Enchufe.tv is a YouTube channel with over 26 million subscribers and 59 million followers from all over Latin America. “We are millions” is the untold story of a group of Ecuadorian youths who are over 10 years old and after several praises, laughter, stumbling and difficult moments, build the largest Spanish-language comedy channel in the world. “Because making them laugh wasn’t a joke.”

a documentary that represents a new approach to life’s challenges. It shows an unprecedented sporting challenge: a journey through Ecuador that begins with a challenge from two friends who are in a wheelchair. Pato Holguín and Esteban Ortiz have had an accident in which they injured their spinal cord and have physical disabilities, both over 50 years old, showing that all these challenges are a second chance at life.

Now they are attempting to traverse Ecuador from north to south and east to west, crossing the Andes on a handcycle, a bicycle adapted for pedaling with the arms. The documentary of this great project, as the name implies, tries to make people with disabilities visible, to convey the beauties of the country and a positive message of improvement, through a madness that no one in Ecuador has ever done before, that in addition to breaking many barriers leaves us no excuses to chase our dreams.
