Around the program “Magic nudity” it became loud again. The head of the National Broadcasting Council decided to fine the broadcaster of the controversial show again for broadcasting one of the episodes. Kino Polska TV intends to appeal against this decision.

Before the show debuted on the air, viewers were already outraged by its controversial formula. The format was based on the British one, which involves pairing participants based solely on physical appearance. The content propagated in the episodes is not liked by , which once again decided to punish the Polish broadcaster.

The first episode of the Polish version appeared on ZOOM TV in September 2021. Since then, the show has had three editions, but it also constantly causes great controversy among viewers. The broadcasting of the program is the responsibility of Kino Polska TV, to which the broadcaster belongs. In 2020, the National Broadcasting Council imposed a fine of PLN 20,000 on authors. zlotys for the broadcast of one of the episodes, considering it scandalous. Although the broadcaster appealed against this verdict, and the court, after examining the application, decided to revoke the penalty.

At the end of 2022, the National Broadcasting Council fined Kino Polska TV again. This time the reason was the episode “Magic of nudity” broadcast on November 22, 2022. As the head of the organization, Maciej Świrski, explains, the broadcaster violates Art. 18 sec. 1 of the Broadcasting Act, which means that the content made available on the air “promotes activities contrary to the law, morality and social good”, and “incites hatred, violence or discrimination”.

Everything indicates that in this dispute neither side intends to let go. The broadcaster of the program announced during an official conference that it intends to appeal against any subsequent unjustly awarded penalty. – This format is presented in all European countries, and only here is it a problem – CEO of the company, Bogusław Kisielewski.
