Children’s theater festival

Sensory: Stand on my feet

A sensory experience that makes you feel what a street animal experiences is the proposal stand on my feet, an activity by students of Casa Grande University that aims to raise awareness of abandonment and its consequences. Cycle: Korean Thriller

lyrical gala

The choir of the Salesian Polytechnic University presents the show musical called Gala Lírica, in which the group shares the stage with invited soloists such as the soprano Ruth Diazthe countertenor Lisando Loothe soprano Ma Augusta Jibaja, the tenor Andres Cordova and the pianist Eddie Gonzalez.

The repertoire includes pieces by C. Monteverdi, Mozart, Verdi, F. Schubert, 1. F. Moreno Torroba, among others. The meeting will be May 31 at 7 p.min the Main Hall of the María Auxiliadora Campus, km 19 road to the coast. Free entrance.

‘Perceptual’ exhibition

The exhibition is presented in the MAAC perceptual, by the Peruvian artist George Arce. The sample was assembled by the master Hernan Zuniga, who says that Arce’s daily behavior is a perceptual rite that leads him to meet his inner universe, holistically connected to the cosmos. “His sensory emotion as a creative artist is a clear resistance to the bleak forms of everyday reality that we perceive as social beings, and that we always strive for that supreme beauty of an art that liberates us,” he expresses in his curatorship.

The exhibition can be seen until June 7 in room 5 of the MAAC (Malecón and Loja). Free entrance.

Cineclub presents ‘The kiss and other frictions’

The cinema club of the School of the Arts presents the cycle entitled “The kiss and other frictions”, which brings together cinematic works that portray this first and memorable approach to the feeling and concept of (lack of) love, especially in the period of adolescence .

To start this cycle, the film is shown It felt like loveby Eliza Hitman. The synopsis reads: During a summer outside Brooklyn, 14-year-old Lila’s sexual awakening takes a dangerous turn as she pursues an older man and tests the boundaries between obsession and love.

Royal magic concert

The musical will premiere on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June royal magic, directed by Gabriel Andrew, who takes to the stages of the Teatro Sánchez Aguilar, an unpublished version of Aladdin. The story is about a fun genie who fulfills Jasmine’s dreams and takes her to different magical worlds.

The musical concert pays homage to all those classic songs from Disney’s highest-grossing storybook movies, such as Aladdin, The Lion King, Coco, Charme.

The musical brings together more than 20 stage performers, singers, choreographic images, light play, acrobats and technological effects, making this a show First level to enjoy with the family. They will be on stage Yilda Banchón, Fabo Doja, María Karla Gómez, Dayana Senges, Ricardo Pico and Magda Salinas.

Open air theatre
