Marzena Trybała occupies a leading place in the most frequently undressed Polish actresses. It has been calculated that she appeared on the screen without clothes as many as 25 times. Interestingly, in 1971, it was because of resistance to scenes without clothes that the actress had to resign from the role. Marzena Trybała was 21 at the time, and “Landscape after Battle” was her first serious performance. The actress knew that she would have to lie without clothes and play dead, but the reality on the set surprised her very much. – When I found myself on the set in a crowd of people who were commenting indiscriminately on the course of shooting, I realized that I would not be able to – years later in an interview with Dorota Czerwińska. In the 1980s, directors increasingly emphasized her charms in their films and increasingly undressed her on the screen, until she finally became an icon of bold scenes. “As a fairly ambitious person, I didn’t like them. I was nervous about being seen through the prism of what I couldn’t see. I thought I was a more dramatic actress – in an interview with “Tele Tygodnia”.

Over the years, however, she has distanced herself from her roles. This, in turn, led her to draw some conclusions. – I rebelled against pointless undressing, but there were a lot of erotic scenes in our cinema. I didn’t like many of the ones I played because they weren’t well directed – in Retro magazine, stressing that such tension should be built in a different way, not with the body, but with gestures and looks. In the end, she gave up bold scenes and temptation on the screen. – I’m not interested in playing for the sake of playing anymore. I am waiting for roles that will interest me at the script stage, give me a chance to express myself personally, will be different from what I have played so far – in one of the interviews. Today, the 72-year-old actress performs mainly in the theater, for several years the viewers can also watch her in the TV series “Colours of happiness”.
