They will make a film about the life of Mateusz Murañski. The father confirms: The contract has been signed

In the latest interview, Jacek Murañski announced that he had signed a contract for the production of a biographical film about his prematurely deceased son, Mateusz Murañski. “Mateusz’s memory will be immortalized on the big screen” – he points out.

Known both as a freak fighter associated with e.g. with the Fame MMA federation, as well as an actor and star of the series “Lombard. Life under pawn”, he died at the age of less than 29 years. Sad news was announced on February 8, 2023, and the district prosecutor’s office in Gdańsk conducted an investigation into his sudden death. In the course of the investigation, the involvement of third parties was excluded, and the autopsy showed that the direct cause of death was acute circulatory and respiratory failure.

They will make a film about Mateusz Murański

in the TV series “Lombard” awarded with the Golden Telecamera from 2017 to 2020, he played Adi – the son of the pawnshop owner. Although MMA fights brought him great popularity, he took acting seriously. He even graduated from the Post-Secondary School of Acting and Musical in Wrocław, which prepares its graduates for exams at the PWST. He was also very proud of the fact that he played a supporting role in Jerzy Skolimowski’s Oscar-nominated film “IO” – he played a “kibola” there. He also appeared in such productions as “Other People”, “Na Wspólnej”, “Father Mateusz”, “City of Debts”, “Asymmetry” and “Commissioner Alex”.

In the latest interview with the mma.pl portal, the father of the tragically deceased athlete announced that he would just sign a biographical film about Mateusz. He noted that this message will probably “drive the fury of the haters”:

Mateusz’s memory will also be immortalized on the big screen, because a large media group approached me with a proposal to commemorate Mateusz’s life story in the form of a full-length film, and such an agreement was signed today.

There are even concrete plans for the implementation of the project, Murański indicates that the picture is to be created in a similar formula to the documentary “Ania”, which TVP recently produced about Anna Przybylska.

Mateusz Murański would celebrate his 29th birthday in December 2023. His memory was honored before the High League 8 gala. Jacek Murański thanked the organizers for announcing a minute of silence for the deceased, as well as the audience for their elegant behavior. “It was very important for me and my wife,” he emphasized.
