Tina Turner was ill for a long time before her death. The rock’n’roll queen has had a stroke, a kidney transplant, and was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Before her death, the artist posted an important entry on the web, which each of us should take to heart.

On May 24, the beloved fan passed away. The star was an outstanding artist with many immortal hits on her account, but she spread good not only through music. The singer went through hell in her private life, when she lived under one roof with her violent husband for years. She found the courage to run away from him, thus becoming an example for other victims. She publicly spoke about her hurt and supported anyone who found herself in a similar situation. She gave me hope.

Tina Turner published an important entry before her death. Everyone should take it to heart

Shortly before her death, the artist published another important entry on her Instagram. We should all take her words to heart. International Kidney Day was celebrated on March 9. The artist decided that on this occasion she would share her own story with fans and perhaps save someone’s life.

“Kidneys get sick without pain,” wrote Turner. She emphasized that she was unaware of what was going on in her body and that she should seek treatment immediately. “I put myself in great danger by refusing to face the reality that I need daily, lifelong therapy with the right drugs. For too long I believed that my body was an untouchable, indestructible bulwark” – admitted the artist.

That’s why Turner decided to support the Kidney Health Campaign. She added a link to the post where each of her fans can learn how their body works and why kidneys are so important for its healthy functioning.

In 2022, the social campaign “Respect your health, examine your kidneys” was also carried out in Poland, under which it was possible to learn that in Poland kidney cancer is the sixth most common malignant tumor among men and eighth among women. Experts say that if detected early, the disease has a good prognosis and gives a good chance of a complete cure.
