We are still almost a month away from the new edition of Miss Ecuador, and the official work for the pageant has already begun. The first of them happened this Monday, the morning of May 22, when 23 candidates were officially presented at the place where the ceremony of choosing the most beautiful in Ecuador will take place.
Since the weekend, the competitors have been in Santo Domingo, where the final gala finale will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023, in the premises of the Dr. Alfonso Torres Ordóñez. For now, the 23 candidates for the Miss Ecuador crown have just today received the official bands of the pageant at the Ramón Chérrez Chávez City Hall.

The event included the participation of Nayelha González, Miss Ecuador 2022 and who represented the country at the 71st edition of the Miss Universe pageant, corresponding to the year 2022, held in New Orleans, United States. Georgette Kalil Roha, Miss Ecuador International of the same year, also attended (Miss Ecuador selects representatives for both international pageants).
During the presentation for the official delivery of the bands to the candidates for Miss Ecuador 2023, there was a musical intervention by the visiting ancestral group Tsachila Mushily Cultural Viva.
