His “Strongman” conquered the charts. Marcin Rozynek did not want to “take part in the rat race”
The musician’s first solo album was produced by Grzegorz Ciechowski. The album “Księga urodzaju” was released in 2003, it was promoted by the single “Strong”. The song quickly became and conquered the song charts, and the words of the song were probably humming by everyone. A year later, the musician triumphed at the festival in Opole, winning the Super One statuette. In the same year, he also received the “vocalist of the year” category. Although he released four more solo albums, none was as successful as “Księga urodzaju”.
The last album entitled “Second Hand” was released in 2012. Marcin Rozynek had already started to fade into the shadows. “I play mostly for myself. I’m not going to take part in the rat race and fight for a place on the list of guests of breakfast shows – in one of the interviews that appeared just after the premiere of the debut album. After all, ten years ago he disappeared from show business. He decided to put his music career on hold and focus on his family.

In 2019, he appeared on stage during the 56th National Festival of Polish Song in Opole. He was one of the stars of the concert “Don’t ask about Poland – #30LatWoności”, during which he performed his greatest hit. He surprised fans not only with his return, but also with a changed one. With long hair and stubble, he was unrecognizable to many fans.
The musician turned 52 on May 16 and has recently been playing music again. However, he gave up pursuing a solo career. Since 2020, he has been performing with the reactivated band Atmosphere, in which he performed in the 90s. In 2022, they released the single “Lauda”.
