Marta Klubowicz has had two failed marriages behind her and even gave up her career for one of her partners. After years of failure, she finally found love, but she did not marry again. Today, her only regret is that she did not decide on motherhood.

However, it is known that the artist has two failed marriages behind her. She met her first husband when she took her first steps in the industry. She was 20 years old when she debuted with the main role in Jerzy Kołodziejczyk’s “Holidays with Madonna”, and the audience went crazy for her. Then she gave an interview to Marek Różycki, and the acquaintance with the journalist quickly turned into a hot one. The couple even stood on the wedding carpet, but soon stopped getting along.

The crisis in Klubowicz and Różycki coincided with a cruise on a luxury ship. It was then that the young actress met an Austrian businessman, Gottfried Schember. After returning to land, she divorced and soon after married “summer love”. When her career was in bloom, in 1992 Klubowicz left for Austria. “I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t actually do anything interesting in Poland except earning money,” she later explained. The idyll that lasted several years finally ended in divorce, and the actress returned to the capital. “Through this unfortunate Viennese emigration I have left the social circuit,” she lamented.

Over time, Klubowicz began to get more and more roles on the small screen and she got a job at the Baltic Dramatic Theater in Koszalin. It was there in 2002, during a rehearsal for Balladyna, that she met the German playwright and director Fred Apke. Initially, they had only a professional relationship. she starred in a play he created and translated one of his plays. The time spent together resulted in a strong bond, which eventually turned into love. Today Klubowicz proudly says that he is her “illegitimate husband”.

We’re friends, and I think that’s the basis. To like the other person, not just love. We are also lucky that we never get bored with each other, that the erotic fascination between us lasts and that we can argue. It is not easy to argue intelligently (…). And Fred has a saving grace: he’s thankfully apologetic. He says: I’m an idiot, will you forgive me?
