Vyrypaev has been trying to give up his Russian citizenship for a long time, which is a long and complicated process. It requires, among others, certificate from the court that he is not accused of anything – the latest sentence probably torpedoes his efforts. The situation is also difficult because one of the director’s two sons from previous marriages is still in Russia. The family of the artist’s ex-wife supports Putin.
Ivan Vyrypaev was born on August 3, 1974 in Irkutsk. There he graduated from a theater school, then studied directing at the Theater Institute in Moscow.
