Santo Domingo will host the Miss Ecuador 2023 pageant

The decision was made through an agreement signed between the city’s municipal GAD, represented by Mayor Wilson Erazo Argoti, and María del Carmen de Aguayo, general manager of the Miss Ecuador organization and representative of the Miss Universe franchise in Ecuador. The evening will be held in the facilities of the fairground Dr. Alfonso Torres Ordóñez, at Avenida Quito 1301, in Santo Domingo.

The government candidates will perform their first official act in this canton on Monday, May 22, at 10:30 a.m. in the City Hall. There they will be introduced and received by the official bands of the competition.

“I have fulfilled my mission, Ecuador is ringing,” says Miss Ecuador Nayelhi González, a few hours after the Miss Universe 2022 pageant.

It is about 23 candidates who were selected after passing through a casting in front of a qualifying jury made up of professionals related to the world of beauty.

The winners of the Miss Ecuador pageant will participate in the number one pageant in the world such as Miss International and Miss Universe, which will be held in El Salvador, in its 72nd edition.
