Until recently, nobody wore them, and now they’re back! These kitschy clothes will be back in our wardrobes

There are certain trends that we happily forget and hope will never come back. Usually, however, in spite of it, the opposite happens. So it is with the “nightmares” we wore 20 years ago. Now we can find them again in stores.

Most of us have these clothes in our wardrobes. Jeans, jeans and more jeans. While classic trousers or jackets are the basis of many outfits and no one is surprised by their popularity, various denim variations are making a comeback. Patches, patchwork, abrasions and crazy patterns can be seen more and more often on the streets.

Denim “nightmares” are back in favor

An Instagram user named Nicole Story Dent recently shared her surprise. The American publishes mocking, satirical content. Her profile is followed by over 290,000 people. This time she shared a video in which she enters the store and sees what is currently in fashion. Her facial expression brings tears. See for yourself:

When you see that the clothes you wore in high school are back in fashion

– is the title of the recording. And on it close-ups of really wild forms of denim clothes. We can see, among others, tops and shorts sewn from colorful pieces of denim, skirts in a marble pattern or, of course, hipsters. The views have been embellished with faces, which probably many of us also do, seeing that all this is really coming back to favor now.

Celebrities add a brick

You also can’t forget about something that was considered kitschy for a long time. We are talking about skirts that are already worn by top Polish celebrities today. Be sure to check out how Ma³gorzata Rozenek-Majdan wears them:

Many people will probably remember the most famous photo of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake from 2001. They were both dressed in jeans from head to toe, literally, because even the singer’s hat was made of this material.

Is the total denim look something we’ll see everyday again? Some would say: “hopefully not!”, but it seems that we will not run away from this trend. What do you think about the returning fashion for crazy jeans? Or maybe you are one of those people who are just waiting for it?
